Professional Summary
I am an economist. I completed my undergraduate at the Department of Economic Development, Syiah Kuala University with concentration in international economics. Continued my studies and completed a Master of Economics Development at The Australian National University (ANU). Subsequently furthered my studies in The United States and obtained my Ph.D. from The Department of Economics, The University of Kansas. My dissertation supervisors were Prof. William A. Barnett, Prof. Shu Wu and Prof. John W. Keating. I have written articles published in reputable journals indexed by SCOPUS or accredited by the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (Akreditasi Nasional). I have also peer-reviewed for national and international reputable journals. My research interest are in macroeconomics, financial economics and banking, monetary policy in developing countries, development economics and international economics.
