Professional Summary
Taufiq Saidi is Associated Professor of Civil Engineering at Syiah Kuala University, Indonesia. He teaches structural analysis, reinforced concrete structure and finite element method. Taufiq Saidi had completed his undergraduate work at the same university in 1989, while masters and doctoral degrees from the Hokkaido University, Japan, in 1997 and 2000 respectively. In addition to teaching at the Engineering Faculty of Syiah Kuala University, Taufiq Saidi is also active in efforts to increase public understanding of earthquake resistant buildings.
