Professional Summary
I am an Associate Professor at the Management Department of Universitas Syiah Kuala. I have a Doctor of Management Science degree in Strategic Management from one of the best universities in Indonesia, namely Universitas Padjadjaran, Bandung. My dissertation discusses the performance management model of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN). The study also involved comparative activities with companies in the United States. Currently, practically I am also certified as a Human Capital Manager from the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP), a state institution in Indonesia that has national recognition.
My academic experience is carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education according to Indonesian regulations, namely teaching, researching and serving the community. Apart from teaching on campus, I am also active in giving public lectures at several campuses abroad. I actively publish publications in both reputable international and national journals, and present scientific papers at reputable international conferences. For the community, I am active in providing training to government employees and SMEs, being a resource person in government and private activities, being an expert and advisor for both the government and private companies, as a survey consultant for government institutions and also state-owned enterprises (BUMN), and as a recruitment consultant for public official positions in government, and recruitment for top management positions in regional public companies (Perumda).
My practical experiences are that I have worked in International Institutions such as BRR NAD-Nias, BKRA(AGTP-UNDP), R2C3 (AGTP-UNDP), and A-EDFF (World Bank - Ministry of PDT - Bappeda Aceh) in collaboration with other international NGOs. I have been involved in Government Activities related to economic development, investment control, and several legislative activities. I have assisted private companies in overseeing large-scale product export management activities, overseeing audit activities carried out by international auditors, and overseeing the investment process for a factory.
