I obtained BSc. in Vet. Science in 1996 and Professional Degree of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from theFaculty of Veterinary Medicine of Syiah Kuala University in 1997. Then, I finished master degree program in Veterinary Epidemiology and Economics at Utrecht University, the Netherlands through scholarship support from STUNED Program in 2002.

I joined as academic staff oftheFaculty of Veterinary Medicine of Syiah Kuala University in 2002. In this Faculty, I am working in Laboratory of veterinary Public Health.

Finally, I completed Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in 2008 at School of Animal Biology of University of Western Australia. My PhD program was supported by International Postgraduate Research and Scholarship (IPRS). I won this scholarship after competing with applicants from many countries in the world.

In 2012, Ihave awarded as third best lecturer of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Syiah Kuala University. Then,In 2013, Syiah Kuala Universityhave awarded me as third best lecturer.

Nowadays, I am also a editor in chief for the International Journal of Tropical Veterinary and Biomedical Research (IJTVBR).
