I finished my first graduate as a bachelor of science on February 1997 at Syiah Kuala University. I continued my study for master degree in 1997 at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) and completed my study on August 2000 in field of physics. Since March 1999 I has been a lecturer in Department of Physics at Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of Syiah Kuala University (USK). My main interest research is all related to wave, especially about seismic wave and water wave. Since at the middle of 2012 I have been cooperating with Prof. Dr. Marwan, M.Si to conduct the research about some phenomenons and characteristics of extreme wave in the shallow sea. Start from September 2014 I have taken a doctoral program at Department of Physics, University of Sumatera Utara with subject of tsunami wave.
