I am a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University. I am also a clinical microbiologist. I perform clinical duties at Dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital and Syiah Kuala University Teaching Hospital. I completed my primary and secondary education in Banda Aceh. I graduated from SMA Modal Bangsa, the third batch in 1999. In 2005 and 2008, I received my Bachelor of Medicine and Doctor of Medicine degrees from the University of Syiah Kuala. I enrolled in the Master's Program in Basic Medical Sciences at Airlangga University in 2010, specializing in Medical Microbiology, and graduated in 2012. I continued my clinical education in the Clinical Microbiology Specialization, earning a combined Master of Clinical Medicine degree at Airlangga University - Dr. Soetomo General Hospital in Surabaya. I graduated in 2016. I was recognized by the Clinical Microbiology College as a Mycology Consultant in 2022. My primary interest is clinical microbiology, specifically clinical mycology. I teach medical students, clinical clerkship students, and resident doctors at the Faculty of Medicine, as well as students from the Faculty of Dentistry, the Faculty of Nursing, and the Faculty of Education & Educational Sciences. I am a member of the Indonesian Society of Microbiology (PERMI), Aceh branch; the Indonesian Society of Clinical Microbiology (PAMKI), Aceh branch; and the vice-chairman of the Indonesian Infection Control Association (PERDALIN), Aceh branch. I am also a Global Outreach - Contributing member of the American Society for Microbiology (ASM). I served as the Secretary of the Microbiology Department at the Faculty of Medicine, USK (2024-2026) and Chair of the Infection Prevention and Control Committee at the Syiah Kuala University Teaching Hospital (2017-2019, 2025-present). I am currently the chair of the Clinical Microbiology Specialist-Medical Education Program at the Faculty of Medicine, Syiah Kuala University, and Dr. Zainoel Abidin General Hospital.
