Muhammad Yanis obtained his bachelor degree from Physics Department of Syiah Kuala University in 2013. He pursued master degree in Physics with specialization in Geophysics (Syiah Kuala University) on 2016. His research interests include the application of geophysical methods, especially in electromagnetics and remote sensing for exploration, environmental, and geohazards studies. Now his research was focus on comparison of gravity ground measurenment and satellite survey for hidrocarbon prorpecting, he also use the gravity satellite for mapping the fault structure in Aceh Province. In another case Muhammad Yanis also research about the magnetotelluric and Trancient Electromagnetic methods for imaging the geothermal area in Seulawah Agam volcano.
