Professional Summary
I came from West Sumatera, Indonesia. My Bachelor Degree (S1) I got from Agronomy Department Faculty of Agriculture, Andalas University in Padang West Sumatera. Master Degree (S2) in Plant Science I got from Alabama & Agriculture Mechanical University, Normal - Huntsville Alabama, while Doctoral Degree (S3) I completed at The Agronomy Department, Institut Pertanian Bogor (IPB). Since March 1988 – present, I work as a lecturer at The Faculty of Agriculture, Syiah Kuala University, and currently serve as Head of the Plant Biotechnology Laboratory. My research interest since 2013 is to generate the new soybean variety through mutation technique using gamma ray radiation. These research suppported by KKP3N in 2013, Stranas in 2015 and 2016, and Insinas in 2016 and 2017.
