Yulia Sari Ismail is a lecturer at Biology Department, Mathematics and Natural Science Faculty, Syiah Kuala University. She got Bachelor degree from Biology Department Bogor Agricultural Institute in 1999, Magister from Bogor Agriculture Institute in 2002, Postgraduate course in Microbiology in 2003 from Kyoto University and Osaka University, and Doctoral from Airlangga University in 2013. Her research of interest area is Microbiology.
Yulia Sari Ismail is a lecturer for some subjects in Microbiology fields including Basic Microbiology, Health Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology, Industrial Microbiology, Mycology, Microbial Genetics, Microbiology and Virology, for undergraduate students; Microbial Ecology, and Advance Microbial Physiology for graduate students. And also she lectures in other fields like Introductory to Biology, Cell Biology, Basic Biology, Basic Natural Science, and Tropical Biodiversity.
In 2015 and 2016, Yulia Sari Ismail with Cut Yulvizar and Ryan Moulana got a research grant with the title “Pengembangan Bakteri Asam Laktat Lokal sebagai Biopreservatif dan Probiotik” funded by DIKTI in Fundamental research scheme.
