Zakaria is a lecturer and researcher at the Department of Physics, Syiah Kuala University. He obtained his Bachelor Master of Science in Computational Physics at Syiah Kuala University (Unsyiah) in 2000 and 2017, respectively under the guidance of Prof. Syamsul Rizal (BS) and Muhammad Syukri Surbakti. During master studies, he proposed an Development of Geometry Normalized Electromagnetic System (GNES) instrument for metal defect detection, under the supervision of Muhammad Syukri Surbakti. His research interests include electronic emmbeded system and geophysics instrumentation, Computer and software developing in desktop (Visual Basic, Visual C++ and wxWidget), software developing in web/mobile (PHP,Coldfusion and Android), 3 CAD Solidworks and Freecad, Design with Inkscape and Blender. He is a member of the Indonesian Association of Geophysicists (HAGI) and Physical Society of Indonesian (PSI). Currently he has written 2 books namely :
