Professional Summary
Marwan was born at Meunasah Manyang, Aceh-Indonesia. He obtained a bachelor degree in Physics from Syiah Kuala University in 1997 in which focus on Marine Physics. His undergraduate study is about Data Analysis of Sea Water Tide in Krueng Raya with Least Square Method. In 2002, he graduated from Institute Technology Bandung (ITB) in Applied Geophysics. Then he gets a doctoral degree from Universitas Syiah Kuala in 2020 which focus on geothermal studies at Seulawah Agam using geophysical and geochemical method.
Began his career in the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Syiah Kuala University in 1998. Besides teaching at Physics Department, he is also active as head of Earth Science Department and teaching at Geophysical Engineering Program Study. He interest fields are Near Surface Geophysics; Ground Water; GeoTechnical; Shallow Fault; Shallow Geothermal.
